Recruitment of Diversified, Connected Board Members

An active and engaged board is one of the most important components to a successful nonprofit organization. Shirley will guide our journey into the best ways to attract board members to reflect the diversity within our communities and who have talents which will complement our missions and who have connections to help our organizations access community resources.

Shirley N. Stelbrink, Learning Alliances Company, LLC., facilitated great conversation on board recruitment.

First, all attendees participated in an individual activity involving board recruitment tools and worksheets. The packet we worked on is attached here:
