Each year the East Central Illinois Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (ECI-AFP) sponsors a National Philanthropy Day celebration, honoring outstanding philanthropic achievements by East Central Illinois individuals, businesses and organizations.  Awards will be presented November 4th at the Champaign Country Club. 
 
ECIAFP are seeking nominations for our Chapter’s 28th Annual National Philanthropy Day Awards in these categories:
 
·        Outstanding Philanthropist Award
·        Lisa Mauney Outstanding Fund-Raising Executive Award
·        Outstanding Volunteer (Adult & Youth) Fundraiser Award
·        Outstanding Philanthropic Organization (Adult & Youth) Award
·        Outstanding Foundation Award
·        Outstanding Corporation Award
 
  ECIAFP hopes you will nominate those you know for one or more of these award categories.  This is an excellent opportunity to recognize your local volunteers and donors.  Attached please find the nomination packet with detailed instructions.  All nominations must be received by midnight August 31, 2011.    If you are not a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, we encourage you to join this outstanding organization.  Information about AFP can be found at www.eastcentralillinoisafp.org.
