Serve Illinois Volunteer Management Network - E. Central Region
Description:
The Illinois Volunteer Management Network seeks to cultivate an extensive resource network of voluntary agencies and associations, small and large, across Illinois. The purpose of the network is to help address the primary concerns of these agencies' hardworking volunteer managers and administrators, including recruitment and retention of volunteers, local organizational capacity-building efforts, and ongoing training and professional development opportunities for volunteer managers - in their own backyard. The East Central Illinois region hosts meetings and events the hub communities of the region, including Bloomington, Champaign, Decatur and Charleston. The region extends from Springfield, the current state capital, to Danville, and from roughly Pontiac to Effingham.
The Serve Illinois Commission acts as a convener for regular business meetings, as well as collaborative networking and training opportunities in your region. We invite you to bring along a volunteer leader in your organization or community and visit one
