The Human Services Council is an association of more than 60 public and not-for-profit organizations and interested individuals. The Council meets on the first Thursday of each month, 8:30-10:00am, at the University of Illinois County Extension Service auditorium, 801 Country Fair Dr., Champaign, IL. Membership is open to service providers and individuals.

The Human Services Council has been around since 1974. Early meetings were held at the Lincoln Square food court in Urbana. The group seems to reflect the interests of current members, and human service related issues generated by the community. Flexibility is important.
