Tom Benjamin, our first coordinator, retired on January 28. Tom plans to spend more time with his wife and family including their grandchildren. We wish them the best in their retirement years to come. Their first planned effort at full-time togetherness is a trip they are planning to the Western states. Have a safe trip.
John Shuler was named our acting coordinator and he is also the coordinator for the Post Oaks RC&D based in Effingham. John is already busy with our first grant request for the Lincoln Heritage RC&D NFP. He is an experienced acting coordinator as he also served the Wabash Valley RC&D while they were waiting for their replacement coordinator.
