University Laboratory High School is a selective admission, public, laboratory school sanctioned by the State of Illinois and associated with the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The school serves academically talented students, residing in Illinois, from the subfreshman level (combined 7th and 8th grades) through high school.

Where: University Laboratory High School. 1212 W Springfield in Urbana.
What: Dinner! Jerk chicken, Carribean salad, beans, and more.
Cost: $15 per adult at the door, $13 in advance (tickets available at the school).
Purpose: To send the entire InvenTeam to Eureka Fest. Also, to enjoy good food.
Uni is one of 15 InvenTeams to be awarded the Lemelson-MIT InvenTeams Grant. Their project is working with shrimp farmers in Belize to find a sustainable way to remove high-nutrient waste water. The club is raising money so all 13 members can attend the final conference in Boston to present their research and results.
