Network tools and approaches are creating new opportunities for powerful social impact. Social innovators are pioneering the art of working wikily, embracing openness, transparency, and decentralization.

The Monitor Institute has done a great job pulling together lots of good network resources on this site. Heather McLeod Grant talked about this at the 2009 Downstate Conference.

smilies/smiley.gif This is a fabulous page. Thanks for posting. There is a lot of great info here. I'd recommend this site to everyone. I especially liked the article Does Participating in Social Media Make You a Digital Socialist? by Kevin Kelly.

I agree with you Missy. This is a great article. If haven't read the book The Spider and the Startfish do yourself a favor and read it. It is very interesting and breaks down lots of organizations who are decentralized.
